– Toddler/Preschool Beginner Program –
CJ’s Skateboarding Toddler/Preschool Program (1yr – 6yrs)
Dear Parents & Friends,
First, thank you all for your continued support of our programs and it’s been a pleasure watching your toddlers grow and progress in their skateboarding journey!
To better support skill development in our Toddler Skateboarding Program, we are introducing two distinct groups:
- Level 1 – for younger participants or those new to skateboarding
- Level 2 – for older participants with some experience or who have attended multiple toddler classes at CJ’s
Class Schedule:
- Saturdays:
- Level 1: 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM
- Level 2: 11:15 AM – 12:00 PM
- Tuesdays:
- Combined Level 1 & 2: 6:00 PM – 6:45 PM
Preschool Beginner Drop-In Lessons
- Duration: 45-minute class
- Ages: 2 to 5+
- Cost: $25 per class
- Optional Play & Ride session afterward: $10 per child for an additional hour
- Includes: Helmet, safety pads, and skateboard rental
(You’re encouraged to bring your own helmet or purchase one from our Pro Shop at a 20% discount.)
What to Bring/Wear:
- Running shoes (required)
- One parent may accompany the participant to assist (must sign waiver)
- MANDATORY: An online waiver must be completed for both child and attending parent before class
Our program focuses on developing fundamental movement skills such as balance, coordination, agility, and spatial awareness, while introducing basic skateboarding techniques (e.g., knee slides, foot placement, pushing, stopping). Through engaging games and supportive instruction, children gain confidence in a fun and safe environment.
Important Notes:
- Weekly group lessons have been set up as recurring events in Outlook. Please accept or decline the invitations as needed.
- We require 72 hours’ notice for cancellations—late cancellations will be charged.
- While we encourage placement by skill level, you’re welcome to choose the time slot that works best for your schedule or to keep siblings together.
