Kevin has been in the action sports world for over 20+ years. It all started at the retail level working on the floor at Board Zone and being there for when they turned into a large mail order.

From there, Kevin moved on to Jaysport – the first Canadian distributor for XYZ, Platinum Skateboards, Elwood Clothing, Darkstar Wheels, Joyride, Type A, and Atlantis Snowboards. Years later, staying in the snowboard industry, he moved into a customer service position with Geo X and worked with SIMS in Toronto then California and New York City. From then to this day he has been on the publishing side of things doing ad sales to some of the biggest brands in the Snowboard, Ski, and skateboard industry.

He was at SBC Media then went to the King Network and when SBC Media was bought out of bankruptcy by CJ Oyster Publishing he joined as the director of sales & marketing. He also co-manages CJ’s SKATEPARK retail shop and works with brands for skatepark sponsorships and events.

When Kevin is not working, he loves to play golf, Snowboard, and skateboard.

     Mike brings over two decades of competitive skateboarding expertise to CJ’s Skatepark, where he excels as a lead instructor.  His deep passion for the sport drives him to mentor and inspire skaters, helping them reach new heights both on their boards and in their personal lives.

     Outside the skatepark, Mike’s creativity and compassion shine through his interests in art, film, woodworking, and music.  His diverse talents and dedication make him a cornerstone of the CJ’s Skatepark community, always striving to help others grow and succeed.

     Mateo has been skateboarding for over a decade and brings a vibrant mix of passion and creativity to CJ’s Skatepark. His enthusiasm for music, art, and fashion is evident in everything he does, making him a dynamic presence in the skateboarding community.
Thoughtful and energetic, Mateo has a grounded approach to life, always keeping his head on his shoulders. His dedication to both the sport and his personal interests makes him an inspiring and influential figure at CJ’s Skatepark.
