Upon arrival at CJ’s Skate Camp, our instructors will oversee an assessment period to help us place your camper in the correct instruction group based on their age and ability level. Throughout the day, campers will be guided by some of the best trained staff in Canada, learning on a diverse collection of settings including flat, street and mini. These lessons are aimed at introducing new campers to the joy of skateboarding or scootering and working with more experienced campers on improving their skill set.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u2022 Complete skateboard or scooter must be in good condition (we can sell or rent, if needed). Pegs on a scooter must be taped or removed and please note we do not allow collapsible scooters
\u2022 All campers are required to wear proper safety equipment at all times. Note: bicycle helmets are not allowed.
\u2022 Flat-soled running or skate shoes. No boots or open-toe sandals are permitted.
\u2022 Shorts or jeans are ideal (sweatpants are not recommended).
\u2022 We recommend light and breathable clothing. Short or long sleeve t-shirts are best.

Cancellation by CJ\u2019s SKATEPARK due to government restrictions:<\/u>\u00a0<\/strong>If CJ\u2019s SKATEPARK is required to cancel a full week of camp due to government regulations, the following policy will be implemented: If cancelled prior to the first date of camp, a credit will be issued less a $100 administrative fee to help cover camp costs that CJ\u2019s SKATEPARK isn\u2019t able to recover. If the week of camp is cancelled once it has started, a pro-rated credit will be issued based on the number of days completed, less a $100 administrative fee to help cover camp costs that CJ\u2019s SKATEPARK isn\u2019t able to recover.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Camp enrollment is limited, and we do realize that situations arise (such as illness, family emergencies, change of plans, having to self-isolate at the last minute) that may prevent your child from attending camp. This summer, we\u2019re offering camp insurance to protect your investment in camp.<\/p>\n

How can I use CJ\u2019s cancellation insurance?<\/strong>
\nOur current cancellation policy for camp is that cancellations can be made up to 14 days in advance of the camp start date for the registered week at which time you will be offered a credit less a $75 administration fee \u2013 not a refund. By offering cancellation insurance, it will protect your investment in camp by giving you a refund (not a credit) and will cover administration costs for our organization in the event a cancellation is made.<\/p>\n

What is the cost?<\/strong>
\n$50 per camper per week.<\/p>\n

How does it work?<\/strong>
\nWhen booking and paying for a week of camp for your child, you have the option of adding cancellation insurance for a cost of $50 per camper per week of camp. CJ\u2019s Cancellation Insurance is active for the week of camp it was purchased for only. Insurance cannot be transferred to other camp weeks. If you have to cancel camp at any time, even within the 14-day cancellation window, we will offer you a full refund \u2013 not a credit.<\/p>\n

Can I use CJ\u2019s Cancellation Insurance to cancel camp once in progress?<\/strong>
\nYes. You can cancel camp as long as there is a valid reason\u00a0outside of your control<\/u>\u00a0(sickness, injury, family emergency). Your refund will be calculated for only the days of camp that were not attended as long as insurance is purchased.<\/p>\n

Please note<\/strong>:<\/u>\u00a0CJ\u2019s SKATEPARK makes no profit from insurance. The proceeds from CJ\u2019s Cancellation Insurance go to our scholarship fund that allows children to attend camp who can\u2019t afford to. Thank you for your support and helping others!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
